This is another interstitial post with no story, so no need to read. There are some pictures this time. But first, some updates and stats!

I’ve been adding one CAS family per season, but the CAS points are still adding up. So I decided that from this point on I must use at least 10% of my available CAS points each season. This probably still will not get my number of available CAS sims down, but I also don’t want to flood the town with new households. So, for the start of Spring 4, I have used 9 CAS points to place 2 new households. This brings me up to 20 households, which means I also get a free community lot.

A total of $333,300 was collected for the General Fund in winter. This was divided evenly among the four funds, each fund receiving $83,325.

The Town Improvement fund spent $107,995 to purchase a new community lot, leaving a balance of $36,435. This community lot, since it was purchased with player funds, counts as the 35th player owned community lot, giving Willow Valley its 7th business district.

The Town Prosperity Fund currently has a balance of $126,250, with outstanding loans of $18,161. Repayments are scheduled to begin this season, and hopefully there will be some more sims taking out loans.

The University Facilities fund spent $100,000 to purchase one of the two unpaid for buildings already on campus, leaving $44,430. Willow Valley is 20% of the way to a second university.

The University Financial Aid Fund has a balance of $143,825. So far no college students have taken out loans. The University Scholarship Fund, which is funded by interest on the Financial Aid Fund, has a balance of $605. No scholarships are anticipated due to the low balance of this fund at present.

The row of houses on the left are all Maxis made houses. Students will be renting them and renovating them into decent places to live.

That’s the update on the state of the neighborhood! Stay tuned for the Pavlov family.
