Welcome to a brand new Trailer Park Challenge! See the rules here.

I just can’t help myself. This challenge has gotten into my head, and I felt like I just had to play it. It’s just…so…trashy.

Without further ado, I’ll turn things over to your narrator for the proceedings.

Huh? Oh. Hi, there! I’m Barbara White, Babs for short. I just moved out on my own, and I am so excited! Ready to go out and find me some lovin’. In fact, if I could find 20 cute guys to love on, that would be just peachy.

And here’s my place! It’s real nice. Real wood floors and everything. Even got an extra bedroom for when I have kiddies. Not much furniture, but that’s okay, I have what I need. I call it The White House, ’cause my last name’s White, get it?

Not a lot to do around my place, so I figured I’d head out. I’d go to Wal-mart, but there’s no Wal-mart in this town, so I came down here to the Round Barn General Store instead. Definitely my kind of place!

I met a cute guy right off the bat! Ben’s really sweet, and he has great fashion sense!

Wow, some of these people are super serious about their darts!

Anyway, Ben and I got along great.

I also met another cute guy named Kevin, but he wanted to get way too serious, too fast. So I decided to go on home.

I had a few extra dollars in my pocket, so I decided I’d plant a garden. I love green growing things. If I ever have kids, they’re gonna spend a lot of time outside playing.

Ben brung me some roses! Wasn’t that sweet? He gave me a little gift card, too, which is good since I spent all my money on the garden.

I spent the whole day meeting guys. It was a great day.

Not only is Jace another cute guy, but he offered to fix me up with one of his friends!

I really liked Ashley. Only thing is, he’s a college guy. I don’t know, something about too much book learnin’ makes me twitchy. Anyway, we had a nice date.

I thought I saw something shiny in the ground, but I dug and dug, all night long, and all I found were rocks and bones.

In the morning, I decided maybe I’d better get me a job. I’d rather not work – momma always said work was for suckers – but a girl’s got to eat. So I got a job as a dishwasher. I get free food every shift!

Ashley brought me some more of those roses with the gift cards, so I got a desk for the free computer that guy gave me when I moved in. Things are getting fancy now! I’m glad people around here are so nice.

Peter Ottomas came over for a good time. He’s married, but he says his wife don’t care. I’m cool with that.

I got a promotion after my very first day at the job! They gave me a bonus, too, so I came home with five hundred simoleons! I’m rich!

I’ve got lights now, and carpet in the bedroom!

I had the next day off, so I invited the mailman, Pao, over for a date.

I was bored before bed, so I headed on down to the park downtown. I figured I’d see if I could catch a nice fish to fry up for dinner.

I caught a boot! Maybe someday I can buy a juicer, and then I can make boot juice just like Momma used to make.

Somebody left some hot dogs on the grill! I mean, they were a little crispy, but who cares? Free food!

I went on a nice outing with a cute blond guy, but then this weird old lady showed up with her knitting, so I figured I’d better get on home.

I was in a real good mood when I got home, and not tired at all. I didn’t have much to do at home, so I figured I’d look for that shiny thing I saw. And I found it! A big old treasure chest!

Then Pau came over and left me a gift – a karaoke set of my very own! I never knew I wanted one.

In the morning, I invited over Hun. I met him the night before at the park, but he couldn’t talk much ’cause he was at work. He’s got a really good job, with a fancy title and everything – he’s a barista!

Hun and I hung out and had a great day.

Another hard day of work. Man, I’m just so tired when I get home.

All I want to do after work is have a nice relaxing evening in with a friend.

Well, I ain’t getting any younger, you know. Oh, wait, I am!

One of my sweeties sent me a love letter!

I make a lot of money at my job. Like, a hundred and fifty simoleons every time I go in. And my dates keep leaving me those roses with gift cards. So I was able to get my place decked out with fancy carpet, and even some linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. Plus, I hung up my boots and some maps I found while I was digging, to really brighten the place up.

“I want to be a billionaire…”

“Wow, your friend is a terrible singer.”

“I know. Want to woohoo?”

“Isn’t that why we’re here in our underwear?”

Something weird happened before the guys left. Joshua flirted with me, and Ashley got this weird look on his face, and said, “We’re not best friends anymore.” I mean, he didn’t get mad or slap him or nothing, he was real calm about it.

I was confused. I thought the whole reason Ashley wanted to bring Joshua along was to have a 3-way, but I guess not.

Anyway, after they left, some of my friends brought by some awesome gifts! I put the pinball machine in inventory, so I don’t spend all my money on it.

I figured I’d try out the telescope, though. What can I say? I was bored.

I got tired of looking at the sky, and started to look at the neighbors instead. Then this guy came over and yelled at me! How’d he even know I was watching his house? Jerk.

I wasn’t ready for bed yet, so I headed back to the general store for some window shopping.

Free food rocks. I love me some wieners.

Sheldon, the other mailman, came over for a nice date.

After Sheldon left, Hun came over. He had some bad news: he got fired from his job and evicted from his place. I’ve got lots of room, so I figured I’d ask him to move in with me. Live in woohoo buddy!

Also, you can see in the back there that my first tomato crop came in.

Turns out Hun has some savings – $10,000 in the bank! We talked about maybe buying a truck or something, but we decided to go for something even more exciting instead – a double wide! We got ourselves a trailer with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and one a them fancy “mud rooms”! And there was even enough left for a couch and a tv. We’re rich!

I had to go to work right after, but Hun stayed home and met the neighbors. He’s real friendly, and wants to have a bunch of best friends.

I got a promotion to shift manager. The bonus was nice, but it makes me a little nervous to have all that responsibility.

It was awesome to have somebody already there to have a date with when I got home.

To finish up our date, we broke in the new couch.

Hun likes sports a lot, so he hung out watching the game while I headed downtown.

This town is full of hot guys to date!

Hun got a new ‘do, since he didn’t have to have a fancy buzz cut for his job no more. And he grew a sweet mustache.

“Woah, babe, you’re hot stuff. Want to woohoo again?”

“I’m really hungry, Hun. Maybe after I have my baloney sandwich.”

Then I barfed up my baloney sandwich. Made me wonder if I was knocked up.

I had to go to work. Hun got lonely, so he had some of the neighbors over for a little get together.

I got a promotion! I’m a hostess. It’s pretty hard work, though. I’m ok with it, I guess, but I definitely don’t want to be a waitress. That’s way too hard.

Hun really got into it at the karaoke machine.

I kinda got into it with Ethan. Yeah, I know, he’s old, but he’s hot for an old guy.

“Hey, babe, want to make out?”

“I can’t. I think I got the flu at work.”

“Hey babe, want to woohoo?”

“I’m sick, and apparently pregnant, and in horrible pajamas. Maybe later.”

I was a little nervous about the baby and all, but falling in love with the mailman made me feel better.

“Hun, will you make an honest woman out of me?”

“Sure, babe! Hey, nice bling!”

We went to bed early that night, since we had a big day coming up. We moved into the biggest room at the back of the trailer, since I figured it’d be good to have the baby next to the kitchen.

The next day, it was yard sale time! My momma always said you should have a yard sale every summer. So we put out all the stuff I dug up, and the tomatoes, and that pinball machine somebody left on the porch, and the old counters we replaced when I got my last promotion.

Peter Ottomas showed up right away, and flirted with me. Turns out Hun didn’t like that much.

He was kinda broke up about it.

“Come on, dude! Surely you knew that Babs gets around with every guy in town! Now would you ring me up already?”

Yep, definitely preggers. Too bad my baby daddy is mad at me. And we’re supposed to get married tomorrow.

“I’m so sorry, sweetie. I promise not to flirt with any more guys in front of you.”

“That’s not the same thing as promising not to flirt with any more guys.”

The yard sale did good, I guess. We sold most of the stuff. I put the tomatoes in the fridge, and the rest of the stuff back in my inventory for next year.

I got a shower head and curtain for the tub, but that’s about it. I figured it’d be better to save the money for the baby.

“I’m so sorry, Hun! I don’t know what to do! We gotta get married tomorrow, before this baby comes.”

“Is the baby even mine?”

“Of course it is!”

Hun wouldn’t even sleep in the bed with me.

We’re supposed to have a wedding tomorrow. I don’t know what I’m gonna do.

Author’s Notes:

I’m playing this for fun, when I need a break from my fabulously wealthy and ridiculously functional BaCC families. I can’t promise regular updates of any sort. I’m not really planning to have a plot, other than what the game throws me, but I’m not going to turn it down, either.

I’ve tried not to break any rules, so if you see anything, let me know. The only thing I wasn’t sure on was the money Hun brought in – the rules say for 8-10k to buy a truck and a junk car, and for 10-12k to build a doublewide, and Hun brought exactly 10k. I figured the doublewide would be more useful to them, so that’s what I went with.

See you next time here at The White House!
