Time for the Fairchild family!

There are 3 puppies in the house. They require a lot of praising and scolding, and eat a lot of dog food.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_843b8817

The family inherited just over $20,000, though I suspect most of that went to Davis. They need the money to pay their taxes, as they previously had about $1400 outside of the kids’ college funds.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_243b8a7f

Davis paid the taxes as the kids headed off to school. He and Sandy both had the next two days off.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c43b8b02

There was money left after taxes, so Davis and Sandy spent it on something they’d been wanting for a long time: an in-deck hot tub.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_843b8b49

There was a little left for a few solar panels.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_443b8b79

The puppies grew up! This is Lulu.

JuJu

Davis called over both his brothers, but they both claimed they didn’t have enough money to take a dog. Even though Davis was offering the dogs for free.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_243b8e34

At least the animal control officer had no trouble taking JuJu.

I’ll see what happens with the other dogs, but it’s possible they may end up at the pound by the end of the season, too.

After school, Sandy and Davis took Greta down to Clay Creations.

It occurred to me that Clay Creations could definitely be considered an art business, and it’s level 5. So I guess that means another position in the Artist career is open.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a43fb617snapshot_5c79ffd7_c43fb68d

Sandy got not one but two blind date offers, both of which she refused.

Unfortunately, they only made about $700 in their 8 hours at the store.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_843fb90e

Back home, Eric had Rufina over for a date.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_843fb9a9.jpg

Greta wanted to earn a skill point, so she studied cleaning while chatting with Uncle James.

The Fairchilds aren’t doing moderate skilling; the kids only earn skill points if they earn the want or do skilling activities spontaneously.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a43fbc5b

Davis spent the evening chained to the pottery wheel, building up stock for the store.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_643fbcd0

Greta wanted to play for tips, and ended up getting tipped by her mom. How embarrassing.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_443fbdcf.jpg

“Oh my boolprop! The tree’s on fire! Let me go panic six inches from the flames!”

Fortunately, the rain put out the fire before anyone could get hurt.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_843fbe98

Eric and Greta stayed up most of the night playing pool.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_243fbeed.jpg

Greta didn’t take it well when her brother beat her.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e4437d59

Davis had forgotten about the money he’d gotten from the sale of his dad’s businesses, until the interest was deposited on Wednesday morning. He withdrew it so that the kids could get a share of the inheritance money.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24437dc6

The kids didn’t have time to deposit their money, though, because they slept until the moment they had to get on the bus.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_04437ee0

Sandy had a want to make friends with Liouba, so she invited her over and made friends with her while wearing her nightgown.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24437eea

Davis spent another day making pottery.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a4437ffb.jpg

The kids got home from school and were each able to deposit $5000 in their bank accounts.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_04438324

Back to the store, where Sandy got aspiration points and a $20,000 cash perk when Jace made the store level 6.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_644383d2

Davis spent the session hard at work making pitchers to expand the stock.snapshot_5c79ffd7_444385a2

The store hit level 7, Sandy got a $50,000 cash perk, and then everybody waited in line for the energizer (except Greta, who had some chips) before heading home.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_444387a3

Back home, Animal Control was called to take LuLu and Nugget. I didn’t want to give them to a townie because they are cool looking, so I want them to be adoptable.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_444387d0

Eric decided it was time to choose, and he chose Zinaida to invite over for a date.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a443881c

Greta called up her steady boyfriend Artur for a date as well.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_2443882c

Artur brought along his pregnant baby mama as his friend.

(Catriona has given up her super duper belly binder, as I took out my wear anything hack and switched it for default replacement maternity wear.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_244388a9.jpg

“Eric, what about Rufina?”

“Don’t worry about her. I choose you, baby.”

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a44389f0.jpg

Then they played chess, because Eric wanted to earn a skill point.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_04438a1b.jpg

Catriona didn’t seem at all jealous about her baby daddy being on a date with Greta.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c4438abb.jpg

She was, in fact, best friends with Greta as well.

“Oh my gosh, really? Your mom really said that?”

snapshot_5c79ffd7_04438ae8

After getting his logic point, Eric enjoyed some hot tub time with his #1 girl.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24438b14.jpg

Greta hung out with Artur and Catty, until Catty decided she needed to go get something to eat.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a4438c4f.jpg

Now that they were rich and Sandy had earned all her money perks, she gave the business to Davis along with all the pottery stock from her inventory. That’ll make things easier since Davis makes all the pottery anyway.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_64438c9d.jpg

Eric and Greta stayed up late playing pool again. Greta won this time.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e4438d71snapshot_5c79ffd7_e4438d83

They spent the rest of their nights with their puppies.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_04438dc9.jpg

In the wee hours of the morning, Davis and Sandy went on a date, and Sandy became permaplat due to her lifetime aspiration bar.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c4438e5e

The kids both wanted a car, and were excited when they got one, but disappointed that Sandy was the owner.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24448de2

In the morning, Sandy and Davis had phone time as the kids headed off to school.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c4448e33

Then Sandy decided she would try her hand at making some pottery, with a little help from Davis.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_64448e45

I have really never been able to figure out this career reward.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24448e70

“Did we get a rebate, Pau?”

“You sure did, Jenny. Only $92, though.”

snapshot_5c79ffd7_84448fa6

Sandy finally headed to work, on the third day of the rotation.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a4449017

Eric brought Gavin Newson home on the bus, and they had a good outing.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a44490d6

Then it was phone time.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_044491e0snapshot_5c79ffd7_64449230

Followed by date time.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_24449276

Greta and Artur enjoyed hot tub time as well.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_44449380

Sandy got a promotion to Celebrity Chef! She’s finally achieved her LTW!

snapshot_5c79ffd7_044494a9

Gavin left a nice outing gift, and Eric shared some of the proceeds with his new friend.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_844e3a48.jpg

Once again it was time for phone time as the kids went to school.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c44e3a8c

Davis spent another day on the pottery wheel, and finally finished building up stock for the shop.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e44e3af2

Sandy took care of the plants. No point changing out of her nightie first.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_444e41b4

Eric brought his cousin Kat Bendett home from school.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_844e4245

Greta brought Pavel Hamilton, with whom she has two bolts. Too bad she’s already going steady with his cousin.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_644e42a1

With the kids otherwise occupied, Davis and Sandy got in some hot tub time.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_244e438d

Eric wanted to throw a Friday night party, and invited all his friends.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_244e43c1

A large number of teens and several young adults showed up.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_644e442d

I did not know those two had a thing.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e44e4489

Eric rolled a want to throw a great party, and he knew the best way to get the party score up.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c44e4519

Greta’s earned $10,000!

snapshot_5c79ffd7_244e4554

Davis decided the kids needed a nice hot meal.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_844e45d0

He headed off to work a party after enjoying a slice of turkey.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_844e463b

A Good Time was had by all, and Eric earned his +5000.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_244e46c1

“You can pick me up? Awesome. I’ll see you at 1.”

snapshot_5c79ffd7_644e475a.jpg

She snuck out for a night on the town with her new friend Pavel.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_044e4768

Eric got another TV, this time from Kat.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c44e4798

“Family! I’m home from an awesome night of partying! … Oh. They must all be asleep.”

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e44e47d4

Greta successfully snuck back in.

 snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455a974

In the morning, the family headed down to Clay Creations for the final session of the season.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455a95f

Eric needed to make friends with Sharla before his aspiration was good enough to help out.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e455ac5d

Sandy earned a bronze badge while everyone was energizing before heading home.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455ae3c

Back home, Greta immediately invited Artur over for a date.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_c455ae66

Eric earned some aspiration points from greeting Michelle Tse, but they weren’t enough.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e455afe8

Naturally, the next step was to throw a party.

Eva and Sevastian weren’t pleased to be observing Greta and Artur’s date.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455b04a

Eric spent most of the party hanging out with Sevastian and Jake.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_8455b145.jpg

Greta went on an outing with her cousin Devan.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a455b1dd

I had forgotten that Zinaida and Sharla had a little thing going, but I’m sure it helped with the party score.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455b229.jpg

The party was a roof raiser, making Eric quite happy.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_8455b2a1.jpg

He paid the school fees, and then applied for scholarships.

Since the Fairchilds feel life should be about fun, and that one should only work enough to have fun, they didn’t require their children to skill. So Eric doesn’t have as many skill scholarships as many other Willow Valley teens.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_a455b348

He headed off for college feeling he’d done quite well for himself, anyway. He earned $5000 in scholarships (grades, 4 skills, and dance) and has a trust fund worth $41,300.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455b4a3.jpg

Later, after Davis went to work, Sandy realized that Eric’s dog Jenny seriously needed a bath. She also realized that Jenny didn’t have a collar. It’s a good thing she hadn’t run away when Eric left.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_e455b554snapshot_5c79ffd7_2455b586

Collars were taken care of for both dogs, and Victor got his bath.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455b5a0

Eric has really been doing awesome with the outing gifts.

snapshot_5c79ffd7_4455b621

Greta kindly took charge of the gift, sending half the money to her brother and half back to Sharla.

That’s it for the Fairchilds! Next is the second semester at Salix University.
