Welcome back to the White house! This is Babs, here, telling you all about how things are going in our trailer.

First thing when I get a nice new bed, my kids go and steal it.

We were getting low on money, and work wasn’t gonna pay me for not going for two more days. I needed a date in a hurry. So it seemed like a great thing when Shea came by. But then he got all weird, and I had to send him home.

That girl, I swear, she doesn’t have an ounce of sense. Taking a bubble bath in the broken tub!

Then she stayed in there and played tub pirate. Silly girl.

That night was Ham Boy’s birthday! Everybody was super excited, except Ham Boy.

He’s a cutie, and has his daddy’s nose.

All my kids look like their daddies. I kinda wish I had one that looked like me.

Lady Bird is getting to be a real good singer. It’s a good thing since she wants to be a rock star someday.

I guess being mean to her brother is also good training.

Poor little Ham Boy’s got something wrong with his teeth. But I can’t afford no dentist, so he’ll have to put up with it.

Birdie cooked up some toaster pastries for everybody for breakfast. Awful nice of her.

She didn’t want to go to school. I made her, though. I don’t need no lazy teenager hanging around the house all day.

The bills were $120! I only had a little over $200 in my purse, and work wasn’t going to pay me for not coming in for another day. I needed some money, like now.

So I went on a date. My guys are always so good about giving me those little gifts afterwards.

Birdie don’t go to school long enough. She was home before I was through my date. At least she stayed out on the sidewalk and played with the dog.

Drew brought a girl home from school, but she didn’t want to play with Drew since he was stinky. Birdie didn’t mind the stink, though.

I worked real hard and managed to do 2 dates in 1 day.

Then I taught Ham Boy to be a big boy and use the potty.

My date left me a nice gift, but we already have one of those. So I guess we’ll sell it at the yard sale.

Birdie went in to tuck in her little brother. Sweet girl.

And Ham Boy loves Webster. Hmm. I got 3 kids, so I should probably think about getting another dog. Maybe with the yard sale money.

I had a couple more friends over. I get kinda lonely if I don’t have a guy over.

Ham Boy loves getting tickled.

Drew brought Tommy Ottomas home from school. That boy can’t sing worth a darn.

“Now, Birdie, always remember not to let any boys take advantage of you.”

“Actually, Momma, I don’t like boys anyway.”

Birdie went over to her daddy’s house for her brother’s birthday. I guess it was a good time.

I heard Hun got married to Sarah, too. Guess I don’t have a chance no more.

Anyway, I was busy changing diapers. Silly Ham Boy’s potty trained, except for naps.

I made sure to have Makoto over for a date after that.

I tried to get him to knock me up, since work’s just about to quit paying me for not going, but it didn’t work.

Birdie keeps coming home when I’m in the middle of dates.

Ham Boy sure does like to eat. He’ll even eat dog food if he doesn’t have a bottle.

Look what came to our town! It’s our very own Wal Mart! I headed on down there ’cause it’s time for Birdie to get some new clothes.

It’s got a photo booth! About time I got some pictures of me to hang up back home, in case I forget what I look like.

Then I met an old flame, and this time I was able to get knocked up!

I didn’t forget to get Lady Bird’s new outfit, though.

Our good old computer broke. Well, it was free, so no big deal, I guess. Drew said he wanted to take it apart so I let him have it.

“Birdie, how about you help me out and clean the place up? I’ll give you some new clothes if you help me out.”

“Only if I can do whatever I want with my hair.”

“Honey, it’s your head. Just clean the kitchen and the bathrooms.”

“Okay, Momma.”

I took Drew out to the garden so we could take care of the plants. Man, all those bugs.

Birdie’s a good little cleaner.

Birdie got her makeover. The outfit’s cute. I wish she’d kept her pretty hair, but like I told her, it’s her head.

Ham Boy learned a nursery rhyme! He’s all teached up now for his birthday.

A nice dog named Alegra came by, and I hoped maybe she’d stay, but she ran off after a while.

Makoto brought over a karaoke machine, but we’ve already got one. Oh, well, the yard sale’s coming up soon.

It’s a good thing I got the Energizer to keep me happy. I don’t get any sleep with those darn kids always in my bed.

“Don’t eat your sparky cornflakes so fast, you’ll choke!”

“School bus is outside, Momma!”

Ham Boy needed a bath. Oh, boy, was he filthy. I don’t know what that child gets into.

I was feeling a little down, so of course it was time for a date!

“Doggie food yummy!”

My girl’s such a good singer.

My guys keep bringing me those roses. The gift cards sure do help out.

With the gift card and the money from my job for not going, I got a new bunk bed. Birdie’s got her own room now! There’s room for a top bunk in case she gets a sister.

“Happy birthday, punk!”

Amin and I fell in love! He’s my 19th love. Only one more to have what I always wanted.

“Don’t worry, Ham Boy. Momma’s busy, but I’ll take care of you.”

We’re having mac & cheese for the birthday meal. Thanks, Birdie!

And now it’s time for them birthdays. Drew’s looking less like his daddy as he gets older. He wants to make lots of money, just like Birdie.

Ham Boy’s my little cowboy. He looks even more like his daddy.

Just a couple more days until I have another baby!

Just in time, too. I only had one more day of work paying me not to come.

These kids, always playing in the tub. I wish I had time to play in the tub.

Drew likes to cook as much as Birdie does. He made more mac & cheese. Good for me, since this baby’s making me hungry.

“Heh, did you know Momma got left at the alter?”

“I heard that, boy! Don’t make me come over there!”

Birdie tucked her brother in before she went to sleep in my bed.

I got me a gold gardening badge!

I also remembered to hang up my cool picture from the photo booth.

As soon as it was light out, it was yard sale time! We didn’t have a ton of stuff to sell, but it was a pretty good haul. I had some rocks and bones, too, but I figured I’d let folks buy the good stuff first.

Business was good! I was real busy.

Those kids of mine weren’t any help at all. They just hung out with each other all day.

We were running out of stuff to sell, so I tried to dig up some more junk. But I was too busy with selling stuff.

Ham Boy spent most of the day fishing. It’ll be good for him to learn how to fish.

I ended up selling everything, and making a whole lot of money! $11,000!

I also met a super hot guy. I’ll have to see him again.

I used some of the money to buy a top bunk bed.

And then most of the money to build a greenhouse.

Now our lot is all fancy-like.

After all that, I really needed a date, so I invited Ashley over.

Always good to see my kiddies making friends.

I stayed up late talking to the plants to make yummy vegetables, even though I was really hungry.

I shouldn’t have done that. I had a miscarriage and lost the baby.

“Ham Boy! Come down out of the ceiling now!”

I was super hungry, so I chowed down on a couple of plates of leftovers.

Then I went to sleep for a really long time. When I got up, the kids were already at school.

I needed a date, of course, so I asked Jihoon to come over.

I’m glad my kiddies can keep each other company while I’m busy.

It’s nice that Birdie likes to cook, too. She’s always making yummy dinners.

I’m in love! With 20 guys! I think I’m gonna be happy forever.

“Now that we’re besties, let’s woohoo again!”

It took me 3 tries to get knocked up. I had to do it right away on account of work only gave me 1 day off after my miscarriage.

Ham Boy got a new haircut! He also got a bronze fishing badge. I guess he’ll help keep us all fed.

I was super hungry now that I was knocked up again. Got to keep this baby fed so I don’t have another miscarriage!

Drew and Ham Boy get along good.

This baby was making me sick all the time.

I still spent a lot of time out talking to the plants. If we save up enough money we can get a juice machine and I can make healthy juice for my kiddies.

Birdie always cleans up all the dog pee as soon as she gets home from school. She’s a good kid even if she don’t listen to me.

I think Webster might be lonely. Maybe we should get him a friend.

Birdie and Ham Boy are having a water balloon fight! See, that’s what kids should be doing in the summer, playing in the yard.

Then Ham Boy asked Birdie to help him with his homework. One less thing for me to do.

I cooked up one of those fish Ham Boy caught. It was yummy.

Either the fish made me fat, or this baby’s showing itself. I kinda want another girl.

Pretty sure Ham Boy did get fat from the fish.

I actually got to sleep in my own bed! Had to share it with Birdie, of course.

I headed down to the Wal-Mart to buy some new clothes for Drew.

I also met a really hot guy.

We had ourselves a great time.

Back home, I found a letter from one of my sweeties in the mailbox!

Ham Boy won a spelling bee, and won us more than 200 bucks!

Sharla Ottomas over there came home on the bus with Drew.

The kiddies had a great water balloon fight.

They kept playing until it got late.

Aw, Drew made sure to tuck his brother in.

That’s it for now. See you later!

The White House TPC, Chapter 3

I’ve been on hiatus for a bit, but am now finally getting back to Simming! I have been up to some things in the downtime. I successfully transferred my games to a new computer and the Ultimate Collection. I also finally took the plunge and installed InTeen, though I do have “no adult teens” in for now.

Since Willow Valley is between seasons at the moment, I thought I’d use this opportunity to play through a bit of my disturbingly fun and trashy Trailer Park Challenge.

Hi, everybody! Welcome back! Babs here. Winter started, but good thing it’s not cold out yet, because there’s tons of work to do.

Lady Bird’s pretty good about taking care of herself these days, but she don’t play out in the yard like I want her to. She’s really good at those computer games, though.

Andrew needs more help since he’s just a little guy. I gave him some of that special milk, too, so he can be smart like his sister.

Then I got him all potty trained. I hate changing diapers.

Man, those bills are high. $120! How’s a single mom supposed to afford that? I guess Drew ain’t getting new clothes after his birthday.

I felt better after I got a love letter from one of my sweeties.

While Birdie was at school and Drew was taking a nap, I invited over another sweetie for some fun times on the couch.

Birdie brought a friend home from school, and they played Cops and Robbers. Birdie likes to play the robber.

I had another boyfriend over for a nice date. Can’t quite remember his name, though.

Drew learned to talk! Only thing is, now he won’t shut up.

My guy brought over a great gift! Only I already have a telescope. Well, if you have two of something, you should sell the extra one at the yard sale, right?

In the morning, Birdie cleaned out the dirty tub all on her own! She’s kind of crazy about being clean – she’s got 4 whole neat points!

“Teacher said today we’re going to learn about geometry?”

“‘Geometry’? Honey, I don’t think that’s a real word.”

Since Birdie cleaned up the tub, I figured it would be good to have the rest of the place tidy, so I spent most of the day cleaning up.

The next morning, Birdie and I both needed some fun before our day, so of course we played Red Hands.

While Birdie was at school, I taught Drew his nursery rhyme.

I was kind of worried when I heard the carpool honk outside. I couldn’t go, of course. But I was almost out of vacation days. What would happen when I didn’t have any left? I couldn’t work with 2 kids at home.

I had an idea how to fix it, but I’d need some help. So I called up an old friend.

When he heard I needed help with something, Ben came right over.

We went straight to the bed, and got a lullaby the very first time!

See, I figure if work will give me paid vacation days every time I have a kid, if I want to keep getting that money, I just have to keep having kids. Then I can keep getting paid without having to go to work!

Although I am kind of sad that I have to put up with more toddlers. Even though Drew is potty trained, I still have to change a diaper sometimes after his naps.

Ben said he’d hang around for a little while. It was good having a guy in the house.

“Guess what, Mommy? Daddy heard I got an A plus, and he sent me a hundred bucks!”

“That’s great, Birdie. Run and play now.”

Birdie and Drew spent the afternoon playing blocks.

I scarfed down about three bowls of leftover cereal. Being pregnant again sure made me hungry.

That night it was Drew’s birthday! I was glad Ben decided to stay for it.

Drew got some nice sporty clothes from the charity bin. He still looks just like his daddy.

I figured it was ok for them to share a room, at least until Birdie is a teen. Oughta get some use out of those bunk beds, right?

The kids got up early in the morning and played Cops & Robbers while I was still sleeping. I’m glad they get along so well.

The kids went off to school and I was lonely, so I invited over a friend.

Yup, definitely pregnant.

Drew got home from school and went straight to the computer. Turns out he’s even more addicted to those darn video games than his sister.

Lady Bird wasn’t too upset at not having the computer. She just went outside and did some karaoke.

Drew’s so cute when he’s playing pirate in the tub.

The kids get along with each other great. I’m glad they don’t fight or nothing. I wouldn’t know what to do if they fought with each other.

“It’s a good thing I taught you kids to talk. You’d have a lot of trouble in school if I hadn’t.”

Phil came over to hang out for the day, right before the kids left for school.

He was heading out right as I hit my third trimester.

Since work was giving me all this money now that I was knocked up again, I got myself a fancy new bed. It’s more comfy than the old one.

“Mom, maybe someday we could take a plane and go on vacation.”

“That ain’t gonna happen, Drew. All you kids would cost way too much money to take on a plane.”

Birdie went to visit her daddy. She always has a good time over there. She said he moved out of the apartment and bought a house. It’s not even a trailer!

Birdie said her dad’s got a new girlfriend, too. That made me kind of sad, but Lady Bird said Sarah’s nice.

I heard Sarah had a baby boy, too. I guess Hun’s the daddy.

And Hun got those 20 best friends he was aiming for. I figured I’d get my 20 lovers first, but oh well.

Back at my house, it seems like there was always something else to clean.

I hung up some of the kids’ pictures on the wall. Cute!

Drew loves his puppy dog.

I dug a new garden out back behind the trailer for spring, and learned to plant some new plants.

“We get to meet somebody new really soon.”

“Really? Is mom having a boyfriend over?”

“No, she’s having a baby, silly.”

“Momma, is it true that you’re fat like a sumo wrestler because you’re having a baby?”

“Yep, sure is. Pretty soon I won’t look like a sumo wrestler no more, though.”

I was right. I was eating my second grilled cheese sandwich when I went into labor.

I had a baby boy, with his daddy’s blond hair and my green eyes. I wanted him to have a good, strong name, so I named him Abraham. But that name’s too big for such a little baby, so I’m gonna call him Ham Boy.

Birdie sure did love her jump rope!

Then she grew up and wasn’t interested in much of anything anymore. She decided she likes money a lot, but I guess she’s going to have a hard time with that here. She also wants to be some kind of rock star someday.

My kiddies are getting so big!

I invited a friend over for the morning.

Of course, Ham Boy needed me right after.

Birdie came home from school and mopped up the sidewalk! That girl is so helpful.

Of course, then she decided to take a nap in my bed. I don’t think she even listens to me anymore.

Anyway, that’s it for now. See you later!

Hey, everybody, it’s Babs again. Boy, have I had a time! Let me tell you all about it.

snapshot_80028a30_a031c5daIt was my wedding day, and all my friends and Hun’s showed up in their fanciest clothes.

We rented us a fancy wedding arch, and of course we got a keg.

Everybody was real excited about the keg.

“Hun, I’m so, so sorry about yesterday. I promise it won’t happen again. Hey, mister, are you our minister?”

“Minister? What’s that now?”

“Hun, I love you so much…”

“Hold up. I can’t do this.”

“I just…I can’t marry you, Babs. Not after what you did.”

“Hun, please! We’re having a baby! Please take the ring!”

“I can’t. I just can’t. I’m done.”

“Catch ya later.”

“You left me at the altar, and you’re finger gunning me?”

Everybody was talking about us. At least some people seemed really upset, and maybe even mad at Hun. That made me feel a little better.

Hun went straight for the keg.

I was real hungry, so I went inside and chowed down on about eight plates of Jell-O.

Then I went back outside and cheered myself up a little by meeting some new hot guys.

snapshot_80028a30_a031c9b5 The party got interrupted when I went into labor! Look at all those sweet boys standing around worrying about me.

I didn’t see Hun, but I guess he had found a private room to go be upset in.

I had a little baby girl! I decided to call her Lady Bird. The blonde hair kinda surprised me, though.

I was so excited that I could finally have me some punch.

We got some baby stuff, ’cause babies need stuff and all.

“Great. Your mother just left you on the grass. And what kind of crazy name is Lady Bird, anyway?”

The wedding party was a disaster.

“This is horrible! What am I going to do?”

snapshot_80028a30_8031cd99“Hey there, hot stuff.”

Making out always makes me feel better.

“You sure are a cute little thing, Lady Bird. Too bad your daddy’s a jerk who left me at the altar.

“Babs? No, she’s not here right now. You should try calling back when she isn’t at work.”

“What are you doing telling people I’m not home?”

Even while I was yelling at Hun, I was wishing I could give him a big smacking kiss on the lips and make everything better.

“It was some guy! Just another one of your lovers! I suppose that’s all I am to you, too, just another notch on your belt!”

Oh, he made me so mad, I could spit!

He really teed me off when he went and slept in the bed. It’s my bed! I’m sure as heck not sleeping on the couch in my own house!

Well, Lady Bird’ll need a bed someday. And I figured I might as well get bunk beds.

“Listen, this isn’t working. I think maybe you should move out, since you cheated on me.”

“Move out? This is my trailer, jerk! Remember how you had no place to go, so I let you stay here with me?”

“Well, then, I think I should take Lady Bird with me. And Lady Bird is a terrible name. I’m going to rename her Princess Beyonce.”

“Ew! What do you want to call her? No way are you getting my baby! Get out of here, or I’m calling the cops!”

“I’ll call you. I still want time with my daughter.”

I invited Kevin over, so Hun could see us kissing as his cab drove away.

What a jerk. “Princess Beyonce”? Really?

I heard Hun moved into a nice little apartment on the edge of town.

I have no idea how he managed to afford the rent, since he only left with about $600.

My carpool came, but of course I couldn’t go and leave Lady Bird all alone. Plus, I was on a date! But I did get to wondering what was going to happen when my vacation days ran out.

It’s a good thing Kevin stayed. We had a great time.

Hun stole my newspaper! He knew I needed that for compost!

Lady Bird was a good baby. She fussed a little when she was hungry, and that was it.

I figured I might as well eat all the tomatoes that didn’t get sold at the yard sale, so I stuck ’em in the fridge.

I also got a microwave, so I could cook food up right instead of taking forever with the stove. I figured, if the company was gonna give me money every day to not go to work, why not?

Soon enough, it was time for Lady Bird’s birthday!

She grew up to be a cute little thing.

While she took her nap, I went out and harvested my veggies. I was kinda glad to be done with gardening for the year.

Somebody told me about this fancy milk that would make kids smart. Well, Lady Bird wanted to learn walking and talking and stuff, and I didn’t want to spend forever teaching her, so I figured I’d try it out.

It seemed like it worked, since she learned to walk pretty quick. That’s good that I don’t have to carry her no more.

I think I had some bad baloney or something.

I was glad Lady Bird was big enough to keep herself busy with her toy, ’cause I didn’t feel so hot.

I had me some ramen, and then put Lady Bird in her crib and went to take a nap myself.

Oh, boy, another baby! Kevin’s the daddy, probably.

With Hun coming around and stealing the paper, I thought it’d be good to have a nice big dog around. But Rover didn’t stay long.

snapshot_80028a30_c03205dcI asked Kevin over to tell him about the baby, but I got distracted when he brought his cute friend Castor.

snapshot_80028a30_203206dcI don’t know why Kevin thought it would be a good idea to just barge into the bedroom.

snapshot_80028a30_c03206f6He was all mad at me and stuff, so I never got a chance to talk to him before he left.

I still love the guy, though.

snapshot_80028a30_e03207b4Well, things weren’t working out with my baby daddies, so I figured I’d better find some new guys to kiss. After I finished my Lean Cuisine.

snapshot_80028a30_4032088a‘Course, Lady Bird kept me pretty busy. She’s a cute kid, but I don’t know how she got so dirty.

I got her some more toys, since she’s gonna have a brother or sister to share them with.

She was so happy with her toys that I finally got a good sleep in. Seems like the first time since she was born.

I was having a nice date with mailman #2…

When I popped into the 3rd trimester.

I kinda think I want to be done with babies after this.

“Say ‘bottle’, Lady Bird.”

My baby girl was just as smart for talking as she was for walking.

I got another stray dog to come inside, but she ran off, too.

It’s always nice when my dates give me pretty presents. I put the vase on the desk, where I can see it every time I play SSX 3.

I decided to put in a little pond, in case I get the urge to go fishing. I hope there are boots in it. Someday I’ll buy a juicer and make me some boot juice!

Phil came over for some fun.

And then Lady Bird walked in on us! She was bored or something, I guess. Don’t know why when she’s got all those toys.

I went outside to enjoy the sunshine for a bit, and went into labor!

It was a boy this time. I named him Andrew.

I finally got a stray dog interested enough to stick around! Maybe Webster just really likes kids.

I got him his very own doggie house.

That night was Lady Bird’s birthday! It was a good thing, since Andrew couldn’t stay in the bouncy chair forever.

Lady Bird is still real cute, and I found some good clothes for her in the charity bin. That’s good – I got a little money saved up, and I’m still getting money from my job that I never go to, but I can’t really afford to spend a whole day’s pay on new clothes.

Lady Bird had some fun playing with Webster before she went to bed. I want her to have a fun time, so I’m not gonna make her do stuff. If she wants to spend all her time playing with the dog, that’s fine by me.

The dog kept trying to destroy the trash can, so I went out to see if I could dig up a nice bone for him.

Every once in a while I still think about what a jerk Hun was to leave me at the altar.

“Mommy, you make the best cereal.”

“I’m not really that good at cooking, Birdie.”

Lady Bird headed off for her first day of school. That girl runs everywhere.

Ben came over for a date.

I shoulda asked him to marry me. I bet Ben wouldn’t have left me at the altar.

“Hey, kid, what’s up?”

“Playing a game. Who are you?”

“I’m Ben’s friend. He asked me to come over with him.”

“Oh. Just don’t slap my mom. That’s what usually happens when guys bring their friends over.”

Drew kept me busy with his stinky diapers. I hate changing diapers.

I was so glad when it was time for his birthday. Birdie was excited, too.

Aw, ain’t he a little guy. Looks just like his daddy, bless his heart.

That special milk seemed to work real good for Lady Bird, so I gave Drew some too.

Yep, Webster definitely likes the kiddies.

“Mommy, what’s the capital of Simlandia?”

“Oh, honey, I don’t know. Don’t you worry about all that school stuff. You don’t have to be fancy or nothing, just pass on through.”

Anyway, I think that’s about it this time.

Author’s Notes:

The rules say a new spouse can be moved in if the spouse dies, but they say nothing about a prospective spouse moving out. I figured Hun moving out would be more in the spirit of the challenge than killing him off would be, so I’m just going to attempt to follow the rules by not moving in a replacement. I am playing him, for the moment – he lives in an apartment and is best friends with Lady Bird, because I didn’t see how that could hurt anything. I toyed with the idea of playing all Babs’ baby daddies, but decided against it. I’m planning to play moved out spares once I get to that point, and don’t want to bog myself down with a bunch of baby daddies first. I do have a special place in my heart for Hun, though. He lost a nice gig as a townie barista for Babs, and then she cheated on him and stole all his money (he came in with $10,000, and left with only $600). I want to make him happy, so I’ll play him at least until he gets his LTW.

Welcome to a brand new Trailer Park Challenge! See the rules here.

I just can’t help myself. This challenge has gotten into my head, and I felt like I just had to play it. It’s just…so…trashy.

Without further ado, I’ll turn things over to your narrator for the proceedings.

Huh? Oh. Hi, there! I’m Barbara White, Babs for short. I just moved out on my own, and I am so excited! Ready to go out and find me some lovin’. In fact, if I could find 20 cute guys to love on, that would be just peachy.

And here’s my place! It’s real nice. Real wood floors and everything. Even got an extra bedroom for when I have kiddies. Not much furniture, but that’s okay, I have what I need. I call it The White House, ’cause my last name’s White, get it?

Not a lot to do around my place, so I figured I’d head out. I’d go to Wal-mart, but there’s no Wal-mart in this town, so I came down here to the Round Barn General Store instead. Definitely my kind of place!

I met a cute guy right off the bat! Ben’s really sweet, and he has great fashion sense!

Wow, some of these people are super serious about their darts!

Anyway, Ben and I got along great.

I also met another cute guy named Kevin, but he wanted to get way too serious, too fast. So I decided to go on home.

I had a few extra dollars in my pocket, so I decided I’d plant a garden. I love green growing things. If I ever have kids, they’re gonna spend a lot of time outside playing.

Ben brung me some roses! Wasn’t that sweet? He gave me a little gift card, too, which is good since I spent all my money on the garden.

I spent the whole day meeting guys. It was a great day.

Not only is Jace another cute guy, but he offered to fix me up with one of his friends!

I really liked Ashley. Only thing is, he’s a college guy. I don’t know, something about too much book learnin’ makes me twitchy. Anyway, we had a nice date.

I thought I saw something shiny in the ground, but I dug and dug, all night long, and all I found were rocks and bones.

In the morning, I decided maybe I’d better get me a job. I’d rather not work – momma always said work was for suckers – but a girl’s got to eat. So I got a job as a dishwasher. I get free food every shift!

Ashley brought me some more of those roses with the gift cards, so I got a desk for the free computer that guy gave me when I moved in. Things are getting fancy now! I’m glad people around here are so nice.

Peter Ottomas came over for a good time. He’s married, but he says his wife don’t care. I’m cool with that.

I got a promotion after my very first day at the job! They gave me a bonus, too, so I came home with five hundred simoleons! I’m rich!

I’ve got lights now, and carpet in the bedroom!

I had the next day off, so I invited the mailman, Pao, over for a date.

I was bored before bed, so I headed on down to the park downtown. I figured I’d see if I could catch a nice fish to fry up for dinner.

I caught a boot! Maybe someday I can buy a juicer, and then I can make boot juice just like Momma used to make.

Somebody left some hot dogs on the grill! I mean, they were a little crispy, but who cares? Free food!

I went on a nice outing with a cute blond guy, but then this weird old lady showed up with her knitting, so I figured I’d better get on home.

I was in a real good mood when I got home, and not tired at all. I didn’t have much to do at home, so I figured I’d look for that shiny thing I saw. And I found it! A big old treasure chest!

Then Pau came over and left me a gift – a karaoke set of my very own! I never knew I wanted one.

In the morning, I invited over Hun. I met him the night before at the park, but he couldn’t talk much ’cause he was at work. He’s got a really good job, with a fancy title and everything – he’s a barista!

Hun and I hung out and had a great day.

Another hard day of work. Man, I’m just so tired when I get home.

All I want to do after work is have a nice relaxing evening in with a friend.

Well, I ain’t getting any younger, you know. Oh, wait, I am!

One of my sweeties sent me a love letter!

I make a lot of money at my job. Like, a hundred and fifty simoleons every time I go in. And my dates keep leaving me those roses with gift cards. So I was able to get my place decked out with fancy carpet, and even some linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. Plus, I hung up my boots and some maps I found while I was digging, to really brighten the place up.

“I want to be a billionaire…”

“Wow, your friend is a terrible singer.”

“I know. Want to woohoo?”

“Isn’t that why we’re here in our underwear?”

Something weird happened before the guys left. Joshua flirted with me, and Ashley got this weird look on his face, and said, “We’re not best friends anymore.” I mean, he didn’t get mad or slap him or nothing, he was real calm about it.

I was confused. I thought the whole reason Ashley wanted to bring Joshua along was to have a 3-way, but I guess not.

Anyway, after they left, some of my friends brought by some awesome gifts! I put the pinball machine in inventory, so I don’t spend all my money on it.

I figured I’d try out the telescope, though. What can I say? I was bored.

I got tired of looking at the sky, and started to look at the neighbors instead. Then this guy came over and yelled at me! How’d he even know I was watching his house? Jerk.

I wasn’t ready for bed yet, so I headed back to the general store for some window shopping.

Free food rocks. I love me some wieners.

Sheldon, the other mailman, came over for a nice date.

After Sheldon left, Hun came over. He had some bad news: he got fired from his job and evicted from his place. I’ve got lots of room, so I figured I’d ask him to move in with me. Live in woohoo buddy!

Also, you can see in the back there that my first tomato crop came in.

Turns out Hun has some savings – $10,000 in the bank! We talked about maybe buying a truck or something, but we decided to go for something even more exciting instead – a double wide! We got ourselves a trailer with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and one a them fancy “mud rooms”! And there was even enough left for a couch and a tv. We’re rich!

I had to go to work right after, but Hun stayed home and met the neighbors. He’s real friendly, and wants to have a bunch of best friends.

I got a promotion to shift manager. The bonus was nice, but it makes me a little nervous to have all that responsibility.

It was awesome to have somebody already there to have a date with when I got home.

To finish up our date, we broke in the new couch.

Hun likes sports a lot, so he hung out watching the game while I headed downtown.

This town is full of hot guys to date!

Hun got a new ‘do, since he didn’t have to have a fancy buzz cut for his job no more. And he grew a sweet mustache.

“Woah, babe, you’re hot stuff. Want to woohoo again?”

“I’m really hungry, Hun. Maybe after I have my baloney sandwich.”

Then I barfed up my baloney sandwich. Made me wonder if I was knocked up.

I had to go to work. Hun got lonely, so he had some of the neighbors over for a little get together.

I got a promotion! I’m a hostess. It’s pretty hard work, though. I’m ok with it, I guess, but I definitely don’t want to be a waitress. That’s way too hard.

Hun really got into it at the karaoke machine.

I kinda got into it with Ethan. Yeah, I know, he’s old, but he’s hot for an old guy.

“Hey, babe, want to make out?”

“I can’t. I think I got the flu at work.”

“Hey babe, want to woohoo?”

“I’m sick, and apparently pregnant, and in horrible pajamas. Maybe later.”

I was a little nervous about the baby and all, but falling in love with the mailman made me feel better.

“Hun, will you make an honest woman out of me?”

“Sure, babe! Hey, nice bling!”

We went to bed early that night, since we had a big day coming up. We moved into the biggest room at the back of the trailer, since I figured it’d be good to have the baby next to the kitchen.

The next day, it was yard sale time! My momma always said you should have a yard sale every summer. So we put out all the stuff I dug up, and the tomatoes, and that pinball machine somebody left on the porch, and the old counters we replaced when I got my last promotion.

Peter Ottomas showed up right away, and flirted with me. Turns out Hun didn’t like that much.

He was kinda broke up about it.

“Come on, dude! Surely you knew that Babs gets around with every guy in town! Now would you ring me up already?”

Yep, definitely preggers. Too bad my baby daddy is mad at me. And we’re supposed to get married tomorrow.

“I’m so sorry, sweetie. I promise not to flirt with any more guys in front of you.”

“That’s not the same thing as promising not to flirt with any more guys.”

The yard sale did good, I guess. We sold most of the stuff. I put the tomatoes in the fridge, and the rest of the stuff back in my inventory for next year.

I got a shower head and curtain for the tub, but that’s about it. I figured it’d be better to save the money for the baby.

“I’m so sorry, Hun! I don’t know what to do! We gotta get married tomorrow, before this baby comes.”

“Is the baby even mine?”

“Of course it is!”

Hun wouldn’t even sleep in the bed with me.

We’re supposed to have a wedding tomorrow. I don’t know what I’m gonna do.

Author’s Notes:

I’m playing this for fun, when I need a break from my fabulously wealthy and ridiculously functional BaCC families. I can’t promise regular updates of any sort. I’m not really planning to have a plot, other than what the game throws me, but I’m not going to turn it down, either.

I’ve tried not to break any rules, so if you see anything, let me know. The only thing I wasn’t sure on was the money Hun brought in – the rules say for 8-10k to buy a truck and a junk car, and for 10-12k to build a doublewide, and Hun brought exactly 10k. I figured the doublewide would be more useful to them, so that’s what I went with.

See you next time here at The White House!
